Most Of Us Dream Of Living An Enriched, Fulfilled Life. Why Don't We?
Frank's transformation began ironically with a business trip to Cape Canaveral,
Then fate stepped in."Why don't we buy an RV?" asked Margarita. "You could save money on your business trips, we could travel more, and we would all be more comfortable." she said.Shortly thereafter, they bought their first RV. Frank took some time off and the Carbone's hit the open road. Day by day, Frank realized how much he had been missing. His life was half over and his kids were half grown. How precious and fleeting life is! But Frank had to go back to work. So the RV sat in the driveway. And sat... and sat... and sat. Frank realized what a poor investment this RV was Ð like owning a second home that you rarely visited, and even worse, lost all of its value before you finished paying for it. But he and his family could not stop reminiscing about their RV trips and what a blessing they had been... how time slows down when you don't have to be anywhere... the places they never would have gone... the carefree spontaneity... Frank began extolling the benefits of RVing to his family and friends. He found that many had RV experiences when they were kids, but they just couldn't afford or justify the purchase. "Maybe when the kids are gone," many would say wistfully. And in his head, Frank would scream "No, not when the kids are gone! Now is the time to enjoy your children. Now is the time to make those memories!" So the entrepreneur in Frank began to think about how he could share his passion, and his enlightenment... that life is a journey, not a destination.

n September, 2001, Frank Carbone was a high-strung,
stressed-out CEO working in the aerospace industry. But he did have a few things going for him: his
fun-loving wife, Margarita, his beautiful children, and a (heavily burdened) spirit of adventure.
Florida, where Frank's company was a supplier to the space shuttle program.
Margarita convinced him to make it a family affair. So they loaded up the SUV with their
three kids and a black Lab named "Jet," and off they went. On the trip home, after a series
of back-seat brawls, Frank was wondering if traveling like this was worth it.
