1. What do I get when I buy a Flexshareš?
    Each Flexshare unit entitles you to one week of RV use.   Flexshare units are priced according to vehicle class/type and the season of the year that you select.   Flexshare terms are: one (01), two (02), three (03) years; or, for a lifetime.
  2. Can I make changes in my Flexshare after I've joined?
    Yes, you can!   You can reschedule, roll your units into the future, upgrade your vehicle class, days or weeks, and split or extend the days in your Flexshare weeks.   All changes are subject to availability, of course; so, it's a good idea to plan ahead and request changes as soon as possible.   Some changes will incur extra expenses, e.g., for two rather than one cleaning of a returned vehicle.
  3. How are my monthly billings charged?
    When you join as a Flexshare member, initial fees are paid by check or credit card.   You choose how your monthly payment are to be made:
      a) automatic credit card debit or
      b) automatic bank draft.
  4. I want to use my first Flexshare week very soon.   How do I arrange that?
    Flexshare rules require that a minimum of fifty percent (50%) of the first usage's cost be paid prior to departure.   Therefore, we will adjust your initial payment to accommodate your schedule.
  5. Who can drive my Flexshare RV?
    Only RVI-trained Flexshare members may drive RVI vehicles.   If you wish to designate an alternate driver for one of your trips, he/she must be trained by RVI prior to your trip.   Please make those arrangements as far in advance as possible.   It might not be possible to train on the day of your departure.
  6. What if a vehicle breakdown happens on my vacation?
    RVI has 24 hour, 7 day per week nationwide emergency roadside service through Coach-Net.   If the problem cannot be solved immediately, the vehicle will be towed to the nearest RV center and you will be accommodated at an RVI-designated lodging nearby, at RVI's expense.   We will make every attempt to get you back on the road as quickly as possible.   Your Flexshare use unit balance will be credited for any unused or "delay" days that you experience.
  7. Can I take my boat or other trailered vehicle along?
    Yes, absolutely!   RVI wil authorize towed vehicles upon our inspection, and most RVI vehicles are equipped for towing.   Separate insurance, provided by RVI must be purchased at the time of use.   Authorization and towing insurance must be finalized before departure.
  8. Can I take pets?
    Yes, subject to prior approval.   For other members' health reasons, additional cleaning is required after trips with pets and an additional charge will apply.   Please contact us prior to your trip for details.
  9. Do I need a special driver's license
    No, your regular state-issued driver's licence is all you need.
